As a parent, I think what may seem like just a tiny thing to a lot of people can be a memorable day for a mother and father. Last night, Abbi took a big step and went from her Baby bath where she used as a new born, to the sitting up side as a young girl to now the big kid bath that mommy and daddy use.
Of course we didn’t fill it up all the way. From her own sitting position it came just above her legs and we even added a very tiny droplet of bubble bath for her to play with. She didn’t know what to think at first and then was so excited that she could turn and stretch out her legs and stuff.
Next step is just getting together the funds to get her a big kid car seat that we want her to have for the longest time.
I can’t believe our little girl is so grown up right now. I look at the height chart we drew on our doorway and can’t believe until she steps up to her place just how tall she is.
Time goes by so fast so please remember to treasure it. Even something as small as your little one using the big kid bath for the first time.
